ClubLink is pleased to announce a new partnership with Caddy Time and its mobile app that seamlessly connects golfers with caddies. The partnership aims to elevate the on-course experience for Members, guests and special event participants by providing access to a service not found at most Clubs.
There are so many benefits to playing a round of golf with a caddie, beyond club selection advice and managing your equipment. A skilled and service-focused caddie will help with course care, keep play moving at the expected pace, provide expert advice about how to play a hole, read putts, maintain the integrity of scorekeeping, provide etiquette coaching, and even coordinate hospitality services. Most golfers would say they play better with a caddie and enjoy their experience that much more. Sharing a caddy with another player or entire foursome makes the economics work well too.
"Any time we can add a service or amenity that increases the value and fun factor for golfers, it makes the experience more memorable. Our partnership with Caddy Time will do just that,” said ClubLink’s VP of Marketing, Brent Miller. “It’s certainly an added layer of luxury for our customers, but it can also be a great employment side hustle for golfers that want to supplement their income. A good caddie could earn upwards of $30 per hour, including gratuities,” added Miller.
As part of the partnership launch and to showcase the advantages of playing with a caddie, ClubLink will host the Caddy Time Open presented by moregolf.ca at Glen Abbey on May 23 - a public player event with a unique format that includes caddies, gifting, prizing and hospitality. Participants in ClubLink's Tournament of Champions, presented by Titleist and FootJoy, will also enjoy the benefit of having a caddie to support their team’s play in the championship.
Caddy Time successfully launched in Florida in 2021, and currently boasts more than 20,000 registered users in the United States. Their caddies are all golfers that pass through a skills assessment and training regimen to establish their caddie rating and pathway for upgrading their skills. The Caddy Time app can be downloaded from the app store on your mobile device and is very easy to use. After creating a profile, golfers select a venue, date, time, and type of caddie service required to confirm the booking. Reconfirm the day before play and meet your caddy at the Club at your agreed-upon arrival time. The Club will also receive a notification.
"We're excited to partner with ClubLink and offer golfers the opportunity to experience playing golf with a caddie by their side," said Caddy Time CEO, Brett Jaffee. "Hiring a caddie provides golfers with a unique and unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to share that experience with the ClubLink audience."
ClubLink Members, daily fee golfers, and tournament guests can use Caddy Time’s services at any ClubLink property in Ontario beginning May 1, and at Clubs in Quebec in time for summer.
Both golfers and caddies use the Caddy Time app to connect for a round. To download the app, visit your Google Play or Apple app store . To learn more about how to become a Caddy Time caddie, please visit caddytime.com or download the app.
