The Sherwood Inn focuses on buying wines through consignment agents who specialize in finding small family-owned producers from around the world; this allows guests an opportunity to experience producers that cannot be found at the LCBO.
In their Vintages section list, some iconic wines are showcased from around the world such as Penfolds Grange, Château Cos d'Estournel and Heitz Cellars Martha's Vineyard. Sherwood Inn does the cellaring and brings them to their prime age.
These iconic wines generally can't be found on the market by the time they are ready to drink - but with the new provincial regulations around the sale of alcohol, we are now able to sell all our wines when purchased with food; dine-in, or takeout.
