ClubLink Celebrates Second Season with PointsBet Canada

With the Masters Tournament underway, the golf world is buzzing with excitement. ClubLink is pleased to kick off another season with PointsBet Canada as its Official Sports Betting Partner. In addition to adding value to the Member experience through its support of ClubLink Member events, PointsBet continues to be a leader in technology.

The newly launched PointsBet Live Shot Tracking Hub will enhance the fan experience for those who follow PGA, LPGA, and DP World Tour coverage and can be used, with no deposit or betting required, through the PointsBet app. The tracker features live streaming and instantaneous results for all players, so no waiting for television networks to catch up. With PointsBet’s support last season, ClubLink reinvented its longest-standing systemwide event – the ClubLink InterClub Championship presented by PointsBet. Male and female Members from all Clubs (290 team members in total) competed through regional events and then gathered at four different venues for a two-day championship finale and shoot-out. For the first time in event history, the men’s and women’s team results and mixed team shoot-out results were combined to produce an overall champion. Augmenting the traditional men’s and women’s championships, the new and progressive format was well-received and will be utilized on a rotational basis. Local qualifying, regional venues, format, and full event schedule for the 2023 season will be released in early May.

“We’re excited to continue our partnership with one of the biggest brands

in Canadian golf," said Keesje Kort, Director of Commercial Partnerships at PointsBet Canada. “It’s great to be a part of the Interclub Championship and to witness the level of competition and Club pride that ClubLink Members bring to each event.

The PointsBet Par 3 Challenge is a new concept launched in 2022 that runs alongside weekly Men’s and Women’s Days at Clubs in Ontario, culminating with a finale hosted by PointsBet in Muskoka. This event returns for 2023 and promises to be bigger and better. Members participating in Men’s and Women’s Days at their Club can win great prizes and track their qualification progress by following the leaderboard in Golf Genius. The players with the lowest aggregate par three scoring on Men’s and Women’s Days will represent their Club at the two-day finals at Rocky Crest in early October.

“Seeing the winners from Men’s and Women’s Days come together at Rocky Crest Golf Resort in Muskoka for the Par 3 Challenge finale was exciting. The competition itself was tight, and we had a thrilling tiebreaker to crown the men’s division champion - a chip off to the 18th green from the patio at Rocky Crest. We enjoy hosting good parties surrounding sporting events with hospitality. These events at ClubLink exude the spirit of Canadian sport and embody what PointsBet is all about,” added Kort.

“Between enhancements to our Interclub Championship and the creation of the PointsBet Par 3 Challenge, PointsBet provided some unique new experiences for ClubLink Members," said Brent Miller, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at ClubLink. “We’re grateful for PointsBet’s support of our Member competitions and passion for enhancing the fandom of golf,” added Miller.
