Eagle Creek Claims Tournament of Champions Title at Glencairn

On Tuesday, May 19, the 2026 ClubLink Special Events season officially tee’d off with the Tournament of Champions, presented by Titleist and FootJoy, hosted Glencairn Golf Club.
Warm temperatures, sunny skies and a strong wind set the stage for a challenging round. Players from across 28 ClubLink courses brought their A game to make this a memorable day of competition and celebration. The tournament featured teams made up of Men’s and Women’s Club Champions, runners-up, and a Club professional, culminating a true battle of champions from across the ClubLink network.
This year we hosted a pre-event reception the night before with some whiskey sampling by Corby Wine & Spirits as well as testing out some of Titleist’s 2026 Putters on artificial turf supplied by SynLawn.
This year marked the first time the GTA/North and Ottawa/Montreal divisions were combined into one championship field since 2019. Rising to the occasion was the team from Eagle Creek Golf Club, who captured the title with an impressive gross score of -5. Congratulations to Brenda Fawcett, Tamara Chamberlain, Brendan Jacome, Drew Edmunds, and Carson Scissons on their victory.
New to this year’s tournament was the introduction of the Men’s and Women’s Low Gross Champion competition. Congratulations to Women’s Low Gross Champion Rozlyn Rooke of Blue Springs Golf Club, who finished at 3-under-par, and Men’s Low Gross Champion Jordan Hwang of Emerald Hills Golf Club, who finished at 6-under-par.
Following the round, players gathered in Glencairn’s banquet hall to enjoy a post-tournament meal and entertainment from Paul Jones of NBA TV Canada and ClubLink Ambassador, alongside Steve Levick, Sales Representative at Acushnet Canada.
