By Richard Storey, RattleSnake Point Director of Instruction
We take immense pride in celebrating the recent achievements of two talented junior Members, Nobelle and Kaprice Park. The twins, who have been dedicated RattleSnake Point Members since 2020, have been dominating the local junior golf scene and making waves on a larger stage as well.
In the fall of 2023, their exceptional performance earned them spots on the provincial team, where they have continued to deliver consistent and winning results. Competing not only locally but also nationally and often in the United States, the Park twins have showcased their talent and determination at numerous prestigious invitational tournaments.
Earlier this month, Nobelle qualified for the U.S. Junior Girls' Amateur, with Kaprice finishing as the 1st alternate, despite competing against girls several years older. Their impressive performances didn't stop there. The twins claimed 1st and 2nd place in the stroke play portion of the GAO Women’s Amateur. Kaprice ultimately finished as the runner-up in match play, while Nobelle advanced to the quarterfinals. With multiple local wins this season and many rounds under par, their achievements are a testament to their skill and hard work.
Nobelle added another accolade to her growing list by winning the 109th Women’s Amateur Championship held at West Haven Golf Course. Read the full article about her performance here.
The dedication of the Park twins is evident as they are often seen on the putting green completing their daily drills or on the range perfecting their consistent swings. Nobelle and Kaprice are not only exceptional golfers but also wonderful ambassadors for our junior membership, inspiring all who love this great game.
Please join me in wishing Nobelle and Kaprice continued success at the U.S. Junior Girls' in California, the Canadian Junior Girls' in Vancouver, and beyond.
